ROBOCOP Drop it creep!

Some years ago (2010?) I was going to be involved with the new Robocop movie. I started sketching some stuff and then I learned that they went with a more "photo-realistic artist" These are my initial designs, basically what I did not get to do was a Daft Punk meets Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Autobio comics

A VERY light start to some autobio comics I've been doing. I got a shitload of crazy stories to tell. I've changed 6-7 schools growing up some of the stories are funny some truly unbelievable. I've seen some serious shit, I am not even kidding. SO to not scare the kids away with tales of dead babies in trashcans and severed heads from graveyards. This is a story on how I got initiated in heavy metal.

My first cassette tape , Alice Cooper's Trash. Bought at a super market next to the watermelons by my mom sometime in the mid 80's. English version coming soon.

I’ve joked for years that the movie is probably the most expensive gay porn movie ever made. Starz’ SPARTACUS series wouldn’t have been possibly without 300, and goes further with even more naked flesh and full frontal nudity. I’ve even been told by someone in Hollywood that its popularity is in part due to both a female and a gay following. Do they show SPARTACUS on Greek TV as well?
Porn, i don’t know about that …Where’s the cumshot? Where’s they payload? Although there was a very intense moment between Leonidas and Xerxes. I don’t know, I love it, coz i see it for what it is, a very epic funny picture about being epic, having a beard and oiled up abs. It’s just movie, entertainment. I don’t tattoo the 300 logo/shied/helmet on me and allow an idea to ruin my life. I got video game console collecting for that life-ruining scenario. Spartacus is not on Greek TV, or is it? I don’t watch any. It pisses me off. It’s all “you go outside you will be raped by a Pakistan gorilla and have demon seed babies eating your guts.” Lock the door. If I want someone to scream scary obscenities at me, I listen to more black metal.

Inspiration PUSHEAD

In 93 (?) my older-cooler-metalhead friend Giannis showed up in English class with his Zorlac skateboad. At the time I was a newly recruit metalhead and G was like the 2-3 years older metalhead that I looked up to in a way. His cousin neighbour or friend don't remember was a kid from the US that had all the cool hard to find shit. He had comics, computer books and all sorts of wizardry. He looked like a young Earle Haley . Anyway my point, the deck was done by Pushead, it was a spider/skull image and it blew my mind. Skateboards skulls spiders and metal , take a sip of that.

That sort of imagery really became a thing for me and i can see it in my art today.

I will come back to my "stories of youth" stuff at another point and in a comicbook form. 

Maybe I will tell you about the day we found a dead baby in the dumpster when i was 12-13.

Let's talk about LASERION

I first saw this playing on an outdoors TV at some village in 84-85? What I first saw while eating my "pink pointy finger" icecream lolipop  was the 15 kids around the TV. Then the sound came. Team Diamond (as they called themselves) brought possibly THE worst dubbing in the history of anything. I bought the tape later in the 90's and with a friend of mine tried to decode what the fuck was going on.

For instance. "Hee-bog" is a cyborg. "TIL! TIL!" is "Ti les - Ti les!" (what say you, what say you) "DOKTO-O KODEE-TS!" Is "Doctor Cody" And that's not even the tip of the shit iceberg. The acting (more like reading) is the worst.The The guy runs out of breath mid sentence and gasps for air like a fish outta sea. And EVERYBODY has a speech impetiment alongside some bizarro accent.  My guess is some sort of Cyprus thing going on. The story is pretty shitty too, some kid makes a warcraft type of Mech, and insert bogus science the shit becomes real. He is the only one that can pilot it , surprise, and some evil Doctor with glass stuck on his face is evil.Motherfucker is pissed about some essay that someone stole WHEN THEY WERE STUDENTS. Now he has a secret base on the moon seeking revenge. VERY well thought out script. No holes , really. So yea, he also has this pool with a garbage disposal grinder fit in it. Some naked chic gets it in the beginning of the movie. I wonder what sort of plumper got that job.

This is the worst. And the best.

Let's talk about the anime series that shaped this wonderfull brain.

Growing up in 80's Greece had its perks, we used to get a lot of crazy obscure Anime straight from Japan. These are some of my all time favorite shows. I can't begin to express how much I love this shit.
